Exploring Factors that Predict Preservice Teachers’ Intentions to Use Web 2.0 Technologies Using Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior
This research investigated factors that predict preservice teachers’ intentions to use Web 2.0 technologies in their future classrooms. Results indicate that positive attitudes and perceptions of perceived usefulness are significant predictors of preservice teachers’ intentions to use Web 2.0 technologies. Additional findings indicate that preservice teachers intend to use blogs, wikis, and social networking in their future classrooms to improve student learning, student-student and student-teacher interaction, collaborative learning, student writing ability, and sharing content knowledge.

Comparing Novice and Expert Perceptions of Interactive Multimedia Tools for Conveying Conceptions of Size and Scale
This study investigate how three different interactive multimedia tools for conveying concepts related to size and scale were perceived and experienced by two groups: (a) 224 novice/pre-service teachers, and (b) eight instructional designers and trainers of pre-service teachers.

In this article, the authors present the construction of a conceptual guide for teacher education faculty considering various experiences. The guide assists in the selection of the most appropriate learning experiences in order to achieve the specific intended goals of the faculty member. The conceptual guide addresses three main elements of technology experiences: approaches, technology content goals, and the broader context.
