Teaching Replays, Teaching Rehearsals, and Re-Visions of Practice: Learning From Colleagues in a Mathematics Teacher Community
To understand how interactions with colleagues support teachers’ informal learning, the author examined teachers’ collegial conversations in a highly collaborative teacher community. By highlighting the work that teachers do to make sense of innovative practices, this analysis provides a description of how collegial conversations can support teachers’ informal learning, supporting the development of professional communities.

Examining the practice of beginning teachers’ micropolitical literacy within professional inquiry communities
The study explores beginning teachers' examination of the politics of inquiry communities. The qualitative study aims at examining how novice teachers learn to fit in politically in inquiry groups, and construct understandings of the organizational structures and professional cultures of their schools.

Mathematics professional development for elementary teachers: Building trust within a school-based mathematics education community
Issues related to trust in a professional development project are discussed in this article, which aims at improving mathematics instruction by developing a mathematics education community of learners. The learners were conceived as both the teachers and the mathematics educators.
