Dear subscriber,

We are sending you our newsletter with some of the latest articles published in academic journals focusing on teacher education, pedagogy, instruction, and the professional development of teachers.

The personal, social, economic and national problems that the COVID outbreak created (and continues to create) – sharpened and increased the already existing need, to develop the resilience necessary for coping with such issues.
In the education system, the development of student resilience must be a major priority of any national system’s policy, but the first and most crucial step towards this is The Development of Resilience in Teacher Education.

So, we set out on this journey…

MOFET, together with partners from 7 colleges of education and other relevant bodies (including relevant departments in the Israeli Ministry of Education and the INSS), initiated and designed a pilot framework to examine the methods and tools for developing the personal and professional resilience of teaching personnel.
The outline established by this framework will be submitted to policy makers in order to implement it as a necessary and permanent basis for training future teachers.
Read more about this initiative here.

If you wish to hear more about our plans and needs in this field, to share your thought and ideas on the matter, or to seek relevant collaborations, please write to us at international@macam.ac.il

Wishing you interesting and enjoyable reading,

The MOFET Portal Team
