The article examines an unsuccessful university-school collaboration project. The project which dealt with classroom behavior engaged researchers from the university and school sector in order to improve the management of behavior in classrooms. Despite the team's strong research background, strong collaborative base and mutual interest in devising new approaches to curb violence, the team was unable to progress.
